Haggler (Short Film)

Haggler is a 20-minute dramatic short that unfolds through tense negotiations and emotional undercurrents. As Director of Photography, I worked closely with the director to visually translate the film’s shifting power dynamics and emotional beats. Across 137 shots—including an ambitious 35-shot day—I designed and executed lighting setups that heightened tension and intimacy, using a controlled palette and precise camera movement to reinforce character perspective. Every frame was crafted to support the story’s grit, nuance, and psychological complexity.
