At LightDrum Entertainment, storytelling isn’t just our service—it’s our passion. Whether we’re capturing once-in-a-lifetime moments or building entire worlds for narrative films, we bring a cinematic edge to everything we produce.
Our narrative work has already made waves across the festival circuit.
Founder Houston Sasselli’s short film Rock Solid won Best Filmmaker at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival’s 10-10-10 Competition, while Dead Man’s Hand, a period crime drama set in 1933, took home six festival awards.

A period crime drama set in 1933 and written and directed by Sasselli, has earned critical acclaim for its layered storytelling and striking visual style. The film won Best Student Film at the Athens Film Festival, Best Narrative Film at the Phoenix Film Festival, and took home both Best Production Design and People’s Choice Award at the Northridge Film Festival. It was also nominated for Best Noir Short at the Indie Short Fest.

Meanwhile, our latest psychological thriller, Obscura, just premiered this past Saturday at the 25th LA Indie Film Fest, introducing audiences to a haunting story about memory, identity, and blurred reality. We're currently awaiting awards results from LA Indie, but the film has already picked up momentum—winning Best Original Score (composed by Brandon Yi) at the LA Crime and Horror Film Festival just last Sunday. These films exemplify what LightDrum stands for: a deep commitment to craft, a collaborative spirit, and a hunger to push visual storytelling to its fullest potential. Whether you’re looking for an award-winning touch for your brand, or a team to bring your narrative project to life, LightDrum brings cinematic brilliance from script to screen.
And our work isn’t limited to fiction. We’re now offering wedding videography and reel content for brands and businesses, with the same attention to story, pacing, and polish that defines our film work. Your memories and your message deserve to be told with purpose—and we’re here to make sure they are.
Let’s create something unforgettable.
